Anna was featured in one of the most popular health and wellness magazines in the UK, Health & Wellbeing. Her story was published and has inspired many readers and magazine subscribers all throughout the world. Below is the published column about Anna in the Health and Wellbeing magazine.
“My pain has become my power! I feel like I’ve found a meaning in all the suffering.” – Anna Davidson
Mum-of-two overcomes adversity to become an internationally award-winning businesswoman and now champions entrepreneurs to achieve their own dreams.
Domestic and sexual abuse victim Anna Davidson eventually found the courage to flee her marriage with her two very young sons and turn her life around as a successful online entrepreneur.
She is now an internationally award-winning businesswoman and is ‘giving back’ as much as possible by offering free marketing advice and business coaching to other wannabe entrepreneurs, many of whom are also overcoming their own adversities. She does this through a podcast, membership site, and books. The first book, She Made It Happen, retells the inspirational stories of 15 women who, like her, have turned adversity into success.
She is also an ambassador for the domestic abuse charity The Buddy Bag Foundation (https://buddybagfoundation.co.uk/) as she relates to the years of having to leave an emergency bag in her own car boot for quick getaways.
Among other things, Anna’s ex-husband tipped furniture on top of her, smashed up the house, burned all her clothes, and cut up all her tights. But it was on the two occasions that he strangled her that she genuinely feared for her life.
But the tipping point came one day when her seven-year-old son witnessed an attack and threw his favourite bouncy ball at dad’s head to get him to stop.
“That was when I thought, enough is enough. My seven-year-old is trying to save me and what am I teaching my sons with all of this? From then on I just focused on my exit plan” recalls Anna.
On top of all of this, she is, like many, also currently juggling the demands of running a business with those of homeschooling her two sons, now aged 13 and 10!
